I enjoy watching this. Every character is funny and the plots are captivating. -- Submitted By: (TomPettyFan) on November 6, 2018, 2:12 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
I've tried to re-watch this show to give it more chances since my original comment.... except FOX _really_ doesn't want me to see it. It is constantly getting interrupted and moved around the schedule. It's supposed to air at 7:30, but most of the time it doesn't, and there's a Two and a Half Men rerun there in its place. When it does air, it's haphazard. Like last week it aired at 7:30, but this week it airs at 9:30. I never know when it's on. I've given up on The Simpsons and Family Guy, so I'd like to give this show a fair shake, but on the other hand, I don't know if I want to get too invested in a show that FOX seems hellbent on canceling. -- Submitted By: (Travoltron) on December 25, 2014, 4:26 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
Very funny show, laugh out loud funny! Unlike the Simpsons, American Dad, and Family Guy, the dad here is realistic. He's not stupid, not a loser, and not a nut case, just an average guy who loves his lousy burger joint and his family. The situations are realistic, like when Bob tries his best to keep his cool but ends up cussing out some jerk, or when he gets his feelings hurt by his kids but never shows it, just locks himself in the bathroom and cries. The funny parts come from the dialogue, not stupid sitcom pranks, it's a very smart show and you have to pay attention to get the jokes. -- Submitted By: (spacer) on December 3, 2014, 4:44 pm - (1 votes) - Login to Vote
This looks like one of those shows when you take a glance at it, it looks like something too stupid to waste time on. The animation hurt my eyes the first time I saw this, and the voices made me cringe. But I took a chance on Netflix, and could not believe how funny this show is. It has surprisingly good chemistry, great comic timing, and a sincere level of detail I would have never guessed. That H. Jon is a truly talented voice actor. He's perfect as Bob. I am glad I took a chance on this bizarre little comedy, it really is far more clever and funny than a hundred MacFarlane animated shows. -- Submitted By: (Englebert) on May 10, 2014, 1:08 am - (4 votes) - Login to Vote
Hey Bob Belcher totally rules! This is a funny, funny, funny show unlike most of the Fox Animations which have become very BORING and bland. -- Submitted By: (sharp143) on October 4, 2013, 12:40 pm - (2 votes) - Login to Vote
I actually (because of a recent comment here) tried this show out and it is actually half-decent if you give it a go. It was the first couple of episodes and it might be rocky - but so was the Simpsons in its heydey, so was King of the Hill, especially South Park all when compared to what came later. Again, just be thankful you have a decent, hard-working man as a protagonist (ala Hank Hill) who is relatable. Thank goodness that they show a blue collar family like a blue collar family actually is. I will not vote yet; I need to give a few more episodes a go just in case. -- Submitted By: (johnnydough) on September 23, 2013, 1:50 am - (2 votes) - Login to Vote
I've heard a lot of good things about it from friends and family. I've even watched an episode or two. I just can't get over what are obviously men voicing female characters. I mean, why? What's the purpose of that choice? It just takes me out of the whole thing. I know that may seem superficial, and it probably is, but I can't be the only one put off by it. And no, women like Nancy Cartwright voicing boys in cartoons is not the same thing. If they had a real boy to play Bart Simpson in 1987, we'd probably be on our fifth voice actor for him by now. -- Submitted By: (Travoltron) on September 22, 2013, 6:21 pm - (-2 votes) - Login to Vote
You can't possibly judge a show without seeing it first. This is a creative and original show in a sea of Family Guy copycats. This isn't the typical "Dumb husband, smart sexy wife", Bob and Linda work hard together in their little burger joint. Also there is love in this family, something I haven't seen in an animated show in a while. If you liked early Simpsons, there's no way you won't like this one. A gem in the desert, my favorite animated show since Home Movies. My favorite character is Linda, she is just fabulous! Hope this one stays around for a long time, and keeps it's heart! -- Submitted By: (smootybaby) on September 16, 2013, 9:43 pm - (4 votes) - Login to Vote
I admit this show had a rocky start but I adore H. Jon Benjamin and have been a fan since he did the voice of Ben on Dr. Katz. This show features a weird animation style rendering everyone ugly and strange looking, which probably turned off a lot of people. I kept watching and soon the strangeness wore off and I started to like the characters. Bob's son Gene is the funniest kid on TV, ever! Bob himself is pretty funny and you have to admire the guy for following his dream, even if that dream includes running a beat-up burger shop and barely avoiding poverty. The social satire on the show is priceless, especially when the Belcher's see how the rich people they admire are crude half-wits and not very nice. I'm glad Fox stuck with this show which is now a hit and has a loyal following. -- Submitted By: (jmac9909) on May 13, 2013, 12:57 pm - (2 votes) - Login to Vote

I actually watch this crap just to be curious and it's excactly what it look like, pure cow crap. A couple of short chuckles but nothing too memorable nor redeemable. -- Submitted By: (SSM) on March 5, 2011, 8:38 pm - (-3 votes) - Login to Vote
I never watched it either but pretty much applied the same logic. I haven't herad anything good about it for that reason. Assume by the same rationale that you aren't the only one who smell manure at a distance. -- Submitted By: (lrbloom) on March 5, 2011, 2:36 pm - (-2 votes) - Login to Vote
I never watched an episode, but I know it sucks. How can I say this sucks when I never watched it? Well, imagine someone told you they made a pie. They tell you the main ingredient is cow manure. How do you THINK it's going to taste? Apply the logic to Bob's Burgers, and there you go. -- Submitted By: (Robert) on March 5, 2011, 11:16 am - (-5 votes) - Login to Vote

I'm sick of Fox's obsession with animation on Sundays. This, Family Guy and the way overplayed The Simpsons can all disappear and some live action faire could come in their place. -- Submitted By: (kingbk) on January 10, 2011, 10:51 pm - (-1 votes) - Login to Vote
FOX took off American Dad for this crap? -- Submitted By: (SSM) on January 10, 2011, 8:43 pm - (-3 votes) - Login to Vote
This is a new show that just came on. Horrible!!! This is the worst, bad animation, bad writing, what are they thinking. -- Submitted By: (quimbyt) on January 10, 2011, 6:37 pm - (-1 votes) - Login to Vote
