TV Shows - Samurai Jack

Samurai Jack is a cartoon series created by Genndy Tartakovsky (who also created Dexter's Laboratory), which aired from 2001-2004 on Cartoon Network. The demon Aku (voiced by Mako) destroys a Japanese empire and made a slave of the emperor. The emperor's young son (who would later be known as Jack) was taken across the world to train for the eventual battle against Aku. When Jack became an adult (voiced by Phil LaMarr), he fought Aku, but before Jack could land the final blow, Aku opened a time portal and flung him into the future, where Aku's evil is law. Each episode revolves around Jack fighting Aku's forces and trying return to the past.
