1 Frank is awesome! Mike is annoying sometimes but he comes off as being pretty sincere about his work and he no doubt is a smart guy to build such a successful business. BUT the most awesomest person is of course Danielle! Come on, a 30-somethingish tattooed ex-roller derby queen who's smart, hot, and funny, who can not like that? Pretty good show, I give it a solid B. -- Submitted By: (martymarty) on June 7, 2014, 11:07 am - (1 votes) - Login to Vote
2 Here's my fantasy episode: Mike goes out on a pick to Antarctica and his plane goes down never to be heard from again! My god that guy is so full of himself! I still like the show mostly because of Frank and Danielle. Mike's brother Robby is pretty cool but they hardly ever feature him. Frank is so much more down to earth than Mike and I bet he makes better deals. Go to the American Pickers web site, it's ALL about Mike Wolfe, how its his business, his show, his this, his that! I was at a restaurant in Florida when Mike and Frank "just showed up" lol! The owner told be later that it had been planned for weeks and asked me to lunch that day because he thought I'd get a kick out of it. When the show aired it showed the guys driving around and making a spur of the moment decision to stop into a seafood place and they ended up picking its storeroom at the suggestion of some customer and the owner "just happened" to be there although he has several other businesses and is almost never at the restaurant. Like I said, weeks of planning and it still came off as staged. I love it when they show the two guys just rolling up to some guy's house and introducing themselves and asking to look around. Yeah, right, just the two "Iowa corn cobs" a video production van, a couple of cameramen and a sound crew! Phony, phony phony! And probably a couple of lawyers! -- Submitted By: (jmac9909) on November 14, 2013, 5:32 pm - (1 votes) - Login to Vote
3 What? no comment on Danielle Colby Cushman (or Lauren what's her name?)? No Gravy?:) I just started really getting in to the show. Of course, Danni may be for us guys the reason, but it never boned (outside of perverted male watcher thoughts..) Great show. -- Submitted By: (PokeyJHorse) on May 3, 2013, 10:50 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote

6 These guys are faux pickers. Real pickers never pay the asking price right off the bat. And if the tall guy says "really pop" one more time..... -- Submitted By: (RonHofer) on June 5, 2010, 6:02 pm - (-4 votes) - Login to Vote
