Jim Carrey Comments (You must Login to Comment)

Jim Carrey has posted some tweets stating that he's anti-vaccine. I don't think you can have a bigger boning moment than that. -- Submitted By: (cartooner) on July 2, 2015, 4:41 pm - (1 votes) - Login to Vote
While at a friend's house, I caught parts of Mr. Popper's Penguins. Jim Carrey ruins ANOTHER classic book. You think the farting penguin was vulgar? Jim holds a penguin over a toilet and you get to watch what plops into the bowl. What's worse, Ice Ice Baby was in the movie. -- Submitted By: (Robert) on October 7, 2012, 11:56 am - (2 votes) - Login to Vote
Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls, The Cable Guy and The Truman Show. Liar, Liar seemed to reverse the trend but then we had to suffer through Jim's dramatic side again and again as well vague attempts to reverse BTF with weak comedies. Maybe Jim and Eddie Murphy should get together. -- Submitted By: (lrbloom) on July 15, 2011, 12:37 am - (2 votes) - Login to Vote
Robert, the will now that you've given them the idea :-( I just assume every celeb is a scientologist these days until proven otherwise, seems easier that way. Does anyone even know any non-celeb scientologists? -- Submitted By: (DolFan316) on July 8, 2011, 6:04 pm - (1 votes) - Login to Vote
What IS it with penguin-themed movies nowadays? Happy Feet, Surf's Up, March of the Penguins, and now Mr. Popper's Penguins. Speaking of Mr. Popper, it's based on an old children's book. And, in typical Hollywood fashion, they add bathroom humor to a classic kid's story. I mean, what next? In the future, is Hollywood going to make a live-action movie based on "Hats for Sale" where the monkeys fling you-know-what at people? -- Submitted By: (Robert) on July 8, 2011, 11:28 am - (1 votes) - Login to Vote
I'm with the others here. I haven't heard anything about Carrey being a Scientologist. Hell, even if he was, I'm pretty good at separating the art from the artist. I'm a fan of many of JC's movies- but, I've seen the previews for this new movie he's in with the penguins. Looks painful. Could be a 'boning moment' but as I have not seen the movie, I'll respectfully reserve judgement. -- Submitted By: (Friedrich_Feuerstein) on July 5, 2011, 12:11 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
I loved Jim Carrey's movies back in the day, but he boned when he started dating Jenny McCarthy and started believing in her insane beliefs like not vaccinating your children. As for the the Scientology belief... never have heard it from him, but I think there are a lot more Scientologists in Hollywood than we know of, like Will Smith and Jennifer Lopez, but until it's confirmed, I won't say that's the reason he's boned. I liked him in his serious movies like Eternal Sunshine and Truman Show. -- Submitted By: (kingbk) on July 4, 2011, 12:14 pm - (1 votes) - Login to Vote
I haven't seen or heard anything to that effect but in fact just the opposite. I think some gossip rags reported this but Carrey denies it and there is even a YouToube excerpt of him lightly ridiculing it. I think this is a false report. Considering how defensive other people who are active in the stuff get when questioned, Carrey IMHO doesn't or act or look the part. -- Submitted By: (lrbloom) on July 4, 2011, 1:58 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
When did Jim Carrey say he was a Scientologist? I haven't seen anything on the internet about him being one. -- Submitted By: (cartooner) on July 2, 2011, 9:07 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
The serious actor is the one the nailed it for me along with sequels and "The Cable Guy". -- Submitted By: (lrbloom) on January 19, 2011, 11:02 pm - (1 votes) - Login to Vote
The Cable Guy - annoyingly stupid character not funny - stupid story also Yes Man sucks especially the oral sex with granny scene -- Submitted By: (lrbloom) on November 28, 2010, 6:31 am - (1 votes) - Login to Vote
Another skit comic good for five minutes, whose schtick gets old thereafter. Movies with this guy were like non-anesthetized dentistry. -- Submitted By: (HistoryProf) on October 3, 2010, 7:54 pm - (3 votes) - Login to Vote

I'm afraid old Jimmy Boy is fond of fish. His first helping was Ace Ventur 2. What a stinker. He's actually stretched his acting talents and made several surprisingly good movies while not making an ass out of himself in the process. Most people have seen the fantastic Truman Show, but hardly anyone has seen The Majestic which was equally great. I'm afraid that in between his good movies he likes to snack on plates of freshly boned fish. His latest autism claim is laughable. Just stick to what you know Jim and that's making movies. Every now and then at least you'll get that right. -- Submitted By: (JoeBagODonuts) on April 27, 2009, 4:17 am - (1 votes) - Login to Vote
I just heard this pretentious ass relased a 3 page statement that he believes that vaccinating children is bad for public health. Thanks Jim, where did you get your medical training from? It's sad when balloon head actors best known for making their asses talk decide that they need to "educate" the public with whatever brainwashed nonsense they fall into. Im glad that Jim Carrey decided that one of the greatest public health successes of all time is bad, I had no idea. Glad to see Jenny McCarthy is sucking what little levity there is out of this no talent hack. -- Submitted By: (Chubby Rain) on April 22, 2009, 2:39 pm - (1 votes) - Login to Vote
I had no idea that Jim Carrey was a Scientologist. At least he's not like Tom Cruise. . . -- Submitted By: (rainbowjane) on April 15, 2009, 8:43 pm - (1 votes) - Login to Vote
