Rocky Horror Picture Show, The Comments (You must Login to Comment)

Count me among those who never got what made this film such a pop culture icon. I get that it's more about audience involvement than the movie being any good on its merits, but what I don't get is the motivation. Why should anyone care enough about this awful movie to take part in some recurring audience involvement shtick? I would think that gets quite repetitive and boring after a very short time. -- Submitted By: (ParkerTillman) on July 30, 2012, 3:20 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
On the urging of friends back in college, I tried it twice but found I couldn't stand more than five minutes of it. To each our own, I say. However; I never imagined back then that this movie would be considered comparatively TAME by today's standards. -- Submitted By: (Pelirojo) on October 5, 2011, 2:45 am - (1 votes) - Login to Vote
This was a disturbing film. I think it's based on a play but I could be wrong. I honestly don't understand why people like it. I can't imagine that anyone, including gay people would want to see Tim Curry in drag, right? -- Submitted By: (Jp) on October 4, 2011, 7:12 pm - (3 votes) - Login to Vote
I started to watch this one time on cable but changed the channel. Must be the origin of "Glam Rock" or something but was boring if you ask me. -- Submitted By: (lrbloom) on October 4, 2011, 2:16 am - (1 votes) - Login to Vote
