I agree with you, soggy. I tried watching it a few times thinking it was good showing one shadow side of addiction which is that, whether the addictions or legal or not, addictions impact far more folks than the just the addicts themselves. However; too many times, they let havoc get wreaked for shock value+ratings without ANY attempts made to protect innocent parties. There was one episode in which a party got thrown late at night at some pad with tiny children running around- and drugs were being DEALT right in front of them. Oh, yeah, they obscured the toddlers' faces but NOTHING was mentioned on screen[ or on the black screen] about getting those poor kids out of that horrific situation! That was IT for me. -- Submitted By: (Pelirojo) on May 18, 2011, 8:46 am - (-1 votes)

If it's scripted, the producers deserve to be shot. Personally, I'm willing to accept that it's real, but whatever educational value the show has is lost on me; I just can't get past feeling like a really nasty voyeur watching something so personal and painful (and absolutely none of my business). If I were an addict I would be violently opposed to my life being splashed across millions of TV screens. For every viewer who tunes in to get educated, there is at least one who is tuning in to be entertained. You and I know that, and the producers and network heads know it too - but they're clearly okay with it. Therefore, I say this show boned the fish from the moment the network approved its airing. -- Submitted By: (Soggy9000) on May 11, 2011, 3:04 am - (-1 votes)

I'm not going to vote on this one yet, I have to do further evaluation. I'm not sure if this is real or scripted yet. -- Submitted By: (fletch000) on February 10, 2010, 12:52 pm - (1 votes)
