Back in the day....when there was no 24/7 entertainment news, "ET" was the only source of what was going on in the world of celebrity and it was not so sensationalistic. Or maybe it was and we just didn't know any better. Now, it's just WAY over the top. I also wish Mary Hart would retire. Her perkiness is exhausting to watch. That show is so annoying! I happened on it last night and they were so FULL of themselves on location in Rome interviewing Tom Hanks for his new movie- as though they were the very first people to ever visit the place! Geez! I think the show makes pancakes look infinitely deep and if sincerity were napalm, I don't think they'd have enough amongst them to light a match!
