Lady Gaga is still a real thing??? Then again, that's what she always seemed to want to be viewed as--a thing as opposed to a person. -- Submitted By: (DolFan316) on April 13, 2015, 6:32 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
Someone commented and had the audacity to label her shocking image comparative to Marilyn Manson's shock rock image. Okay, in the pop music industry, you're manufactured to be controversial. That is, if your popularity is about to fizzle out. I mean, look at Miley Cyrus. Being controversial in pop is a tool to gain popularity back. When being shock rock, you do it out of some level of sheer belief and really hit home what you're intending to be so shocking about. Something Gaga apparently lacks when compared to Manson. -- Submitted By: () on April 2, 2015, 8:23 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
I find it interesting that she lists Freddie Mercury as an inspiration. Meanwhile decades before Lady Gaga appears on the scene, Queen released a hit single called "Radio Gaga". Perhaps Freddie Mercury isn't just an inspiration, but a source of plagiarism. -- Submitted By: (ParkerTillman) on July 24, 2012, 10:43 am - (4 votes) - Login to Vote

And you KNOW if she had a boy that's EXACTLY what she'd name him! Knowing our luck, the government's going to declare Lady Gaga a national treasure and give her a bailout >:-( -- Submitted By: (DolFan316) on June 28, 2011, 9:31 am - (3 votes) - Login to Vote
Look at the bright side everyone: if she's declaring bankrupcy, this means the odds are somewhat less than before that there would be a LORD Gaga on the scene. -- Submitted By: (Pelirojo) on June 27, 2011, 8:05 am - (4 votes) - Login to Vote

Wow, $3 million in debt and bankrupt even after her "sucessful" tour? I hope she still feels that way when she said that she an artist and doesn't care for money 5 years from now when her debt grows even bigger. -- Submitted By: (SSM) on June 26, 2011, 7:50 pm - (4 votes) - Login to Vote
You said "pitch a tent." Heh heh :-) And no, she doesn't make me want to. -- Submitted By: (DolFan316) on June 26, 2011, 7:08 pm - (3 votes) - Login to Vote
Also apparently, she sides with the illegal immigrants. So she wouldn't mind if I would illegaly pitch a tent at her place, and live there. -- Submitted By: (PYLrulz) on June 26, 2011, 4:15 pm - (1 votes) - Login to Vote
On the WWW - just type in "Lady Gaga bankruptcy". -- Submitted By: (lrbloom) on June 25, 2011, 8:34 pm - (3 votes) - Login to Vote
Wait, what?! Bankrupt already?! Where did you find this out??? That's pathetic if true. NEVER underestimate the ability of humans to spend more than they have, no matter how much they have or how seemingly impossible it would be to do so. -- Submitted By: (DolFan316) on June 25, 2011, 5:55 pm - (3 votes) - Login to Vote
Must not be doing so hot if she's bankrupt (already?) and didn't even know it. -- Submitted By: (lrbloom) on June 25, 2011, 4:22 am - (3 votes) - Login to Vote
Never heard her music (that I know of), so I cant judge her on that. But "Lady Gaga" has to be the STUPIDEST show biz name I've ever heard of. That and her trying to act like a trendsetter (meat dress comes to mind) makes me vote for "boned the fish" -- Submitted By: (bmovies) on June 19, 2011, 11:50 am - (4 votes) - Login to Vote
Her music is mediocre at best. A lot of my friends think she's a he. As for Soggy's remark, my metalhead friend acknowledges Scandinavian metal is among the very best. -- Submitted By: (Robert) on June 4, 2011, 10:25 pm - (3 votes) - Login to Vote
The more Lady Gaga tries to be "edgy" the less I care. Funny how that works. -- Submitted By: (DolFan316) on June 1, 2011, 7:53 pm - (8 votes) - Login to Vote
Image. Fashion icon. Performance artist. Media phenomenon. Avant-garde envelope pusher. This is what it means to be at the highest reaches of the pop world. The music is secondary, or even tertiary; it's all about "Artist-as-Experience". And people wonder why I prefer good old honest Scandinavian death metal to this sort of nonsense. -- Submitted By: (Soggy9000) on June 1, 2011, 2:44 am - (5 votes) - Login to Vote
Not weird just mediocre gimmick - done before and better- -- Submitted By: (lrbloom) on January 9, 2011, 9:36 pm - (7 votes) - Login to Vote
There's "good" weird, "meh" weird, and "bad" weird. She's not the first option. -- Submitted By: (Robert) on November 30, 2010, 12:48 pm - (4 votes) - Login to Vote
Who cares if she has talent? That's not why she's famous and nobody knows it better than Lady Gaga herself, hence the over the top looks thing. The truth is, people would worship her even if she literally couldn't carry a tune. The music industry hasn't been about "talent" in at least a decade. Me, I see a walking freak show trying way too hard to be "exhibitionist" and turn my attention elsewhere. I've never heard one of her songs and I suspect my IQ is higher because of it. -- Submitted By: (DolFan316) on November 28, 2010, 11:12 pm - (7 votes) - Login to Vote
