You know you're getting old when someone you went to high school with is now a teacher being rated on the internet. LOL -- Submitted By: (DolFan316) on July 10, 2012, 6:51 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
I'm studying to be a teacher, and I liked this site for a long time. Yes, the thoughts of teenagers regarding their teachers can at times be petty, but I also saw plenty of intelligent comments on the site as well. A few years ago, they completely changed the format around so it's impossible to navigate and find anything on there. It went from being a useful tool with an active community to just this ugly bloated site. RateMyProfessors underwent the same change, although it's more user-friendly than RMT. -- Submitted By: (BBulaga75) on July 8, 2012, 9:21 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
A dubious site. I live in the town - Forks, WA - where the Twilight books and movies are set; I just checked the page for Forks High School teachers, only to find that several of the names are of Twilight characters rather than real people. And of the real teachers, some are listed under two or even three different spellings. (I wonder if the harshest scores were awarded by the students with the poorest spelling skills.) How do we know a disproportionate number of the scores given to teachers on this site were not entered by juvie-bound Alternative School inmates - er, students - who naturally hate everybody but their meth supplier? Again, Good Intentions Gone Bad may be the moral of this project (as it seems to be with so many other sites these days, arguably including Bone the Fish itself). -- Submitted By: (Soggy9000) on April 23, 2011, 11:42 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
I wish they had this when I was in high school at the same time how do you know if anyone is telling the truth or being honest in their assessment of a teacher. a student could be pissed off that they got a bad grade and say something nasty. -- Submitted By: (quimbyt) on January 9, 2011, 6:21 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
I checked out Rate My Teachers to see what others wrote about teachers I had in high school. Site looks good, I might leave a comment or two there if I feel like it. -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on November 3, 2010, 9:48 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
The fact that it says easiness is why this site cannot be taken seriously. -- Submitted By: (MCS) on July 15, 2010, 11:53 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
Chubby Rain just put some feedback on some of his least favorite teachers, some of whom are unfortunately still emplyed- great site!! -- Submitted By: (Chubby Rain) on May 28, 2010, 5:31 am - (1 votes) - Login to Vote
That is true. Rate My Teachers (or Professors) means well, but when you add in the fact that you have people who will use the anonymity of the internet to bash someone, they will do it. -- Submitted By: (PYLrulz) on May 27, 2010, 7:06 am - (1 votes) - Login to Vote
Hey! Let's let a bunch of malcontent students grade their teachers! What could possibly go wrong? -- Submitted By: (BrewMaster) on May 26, 2010, 9:27 pm - (2 votes) - Login to Vote
