Music Groups - Mamas & the Papas, The
The Mamas & the Papas (credited as The Mama's and the Papa's on the debut album cover) were a vocal group of the 1960s. The group recorded and performed from 1965 to 1968 with a short reunion in 1971, releasing five albums and 11 Top 40 hit singles. They have sold nearly 40 million records worldwide.

I agree. I will never be able to listen to the Mamas and The Papas again after this latest revelation. I had read Michelle Phillips' autobiography back in the late 80's and alot of what she told was pretty unbelievable...they all seemed to lack a moral compass. Add plenty of drugs on top of that and it was out of control. That being said, I still appreciated their music. They had a harmony that has yet to be matched. John Phillips was a musical genius.
