Random Topics - Practial Jokes/Pranks

Practical jokes, also known as pranks, are tricks played on people. Many pranks use certain items, like the whoopie cushion and the hand buzzer. While many pranks are done just to have fun with the intended victim, some are very mean (such as placing a pin tip-up on a chair and waiting for someone to sit on it), and some are dangerous. Many acts of bullying, sadism, and vandalism are mistakenly called jokes when they are actually cruel and/or destructive acts. One type of practical joke is the crank call, in which a person calls another with the intent of playing a trick on them.

1 remember boys and girls: It's only funny until someone gets hurt, then it's hilarious. -- Submitted By: (wambamsam) on February 29, 2012, 11:53 pm - (2 votes) - Login to Vote
2 Simple, subtle practical jokes are fun and funny for all involved. That's the point. No one gets hurt (physically or emotionally). Pouring paint in someone's hair who is passed out isn't funny. It's needlessly cruel. Putting black ink on binoculars and having a friend look through it is funny. There's a voluntary aspect that's often needed. -- Submitted By: (Tkieron) on June 4, 2011, 12:12 am - (1 votes) - Login to Vote
3 Most practical jokers are people with low IQ's and low self esteem. They are typically loners who attempt to amuse others thereby becoming part of that group (at least in their eyes). If you have to hurt/humiliate someone else to feel good, then you are a born loser. -- Submitted By: (JustLooking) on March 24, 2011, 8:17 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
