Desperate Housewives Comments (You must Login to Comment)

The first couple of seasons this show had an underlying sense of humor. Then it deteriorated into mean-spirited people and far-fetched convoluted plots. -- Submitted By: (jgf) on January 30, 2015, 10:03 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
Every season: one housewife is having an affair, one housewife is having marriage problems, one housewife is having money issues, one housewife has a shocking secret, a new mysterious neighbor moves onto the street and causes trouble, mysterious neighbor is exposed, leaves the neighborhood, everyone's problems are solved until next season, when the roles are switched and another new neighbor moves in. Rinse, repeat. -- Submitted By: (kingbk) on November 11, 2010, 1:59 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
To decrease the chances of vomiting when mentioning this show (not that it gets mentioned much in our house), we've considerably shortened its nickname. Now, if it's mentioned in our house at all, it's called "The D-Hoes." -- Submitted By: (Mythigator) on May 14, 2010, 3:18 pm - (4 votes) - Login to Vote
If I want a soap opera, ill watch the television at 1 in the afternoon, not prime time, thank you very much. -- Submitted By: (PYLrulz) on December 14, 2009, 7:17 am - (2 votes) - Login to Vote
I have watched the show from the beginning and have always admired the writing and the performances of the main cast. I actually really enjoyed the five year jump, but really, they didn't develop it enough. I thought it would be something we'd fill in the whole rest of the season but it only came up in two or three episodes that year. The format's remained the same and while it should feel tired, it still makes me come back every time. -- Submitted By: (SamuraiPanda201) on December 13, 2009, 10:06 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
I love this show too. I must admit that I don't think the 5 year jump in time was necessary. It really is a great show though with such a talented cast. -- Submitted By: (Rebecca) on July 11, 2009, 8:37 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote

My girlfriend watched one or two episodes at the very beginning of the series, but moved on right away because it sucked. Consequently, in our house, this show is never watched, and seldom (if ever) even mentioned. And on those rare occasions when it is, it gets its own pseudonym: The letters "u-s-e" in "Housewives" are replaced by a hyphen. -- Submitted By: (Mythigator) on July 10, 2009, 7:25 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
Guilty. I watch and have since inception. However, I may have to stop this season since they will now have Drea DeMatteo playing a guidette. -- Submitted By: (Sleepy) on July 1, 2009, 10:47 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
I don't know any males who watch it that's for sure. -- Submitted By: (DolFan316) on June 15, 2009, 9:46 pm - (1 votes) - Login to Vote
Who watches this? No, I mean really? -- Submitted By: (dirk713) on May 25, 2009, 12:28 pm - (1 votes) - Login to Vote
