i remember i had friends who were SO into this show and would get me to watch an episode or two and having it try to be good and about a hot chick doing stuff, just wasnt enough for me. -- Submitted By: (VeritechRyan) on October 19, 2010, 10:20 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
Like Heroes, this is a series that came on very strong and then faltered. Each season was worse than the one before, with ever stranger development of the espionage universe. While the Rimbaldi artifact plots during the seasons weren't all bad, what it led up to was just odd (and probably not what the original plan was - but a rewrite when writers and creators left the series). What is worse is that they started relying on the old "we kill a character now, but oh no, they're alive later" technique of bad story writing. Everyone interesting is killed and brought back to life in one way or another at least once (and if you follow backstory, maybe twice). More bad writing crept in like changing bad characters into good then bad then good, etc. Writing like that just betrays the audience, and I am sad to say that it was overdue for cancellation by the end. -- Submitted By: (Evan227) on March 23, 2010, 2:44 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
Always loved the show, but the 2 years later thing was mostly annoying. Then all the lead up of Rembaldi and it turned out to be very disappointing. : / & I hate actors dating and ruining our shows! -- Submitted By: (jennilhenry) on November 6, 2009, 12:05 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
After they did away with SD-6, all the tension of the double agent life was gone. That made the show. -- Submitted By: (BrewMaster) on July 14, 2009, 3:21 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
Alias was like, the best action/spy action show ever. Everything was so cool : music, disguises, revelations, everything was just perfect. And the first 2 seasons were ! When finally, the 3rd season came, it was really a disappointment. Irina no longer there, Will missing, Francie killed. Everything that contributed to make Sydney close to us, as a true human being, with her friends, her home, her lies... all of that disappeared to just become a action-like show. The fourth season with its episodic structure and its "terrorist of the week" was also very weak. The final season was really fun and for a moment, I felt like one of my favorite show was back again... but somehow, something was lost forever in the process. -- Submitted By: (Kristian) on May 2, 2009, 10:12 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
