1 TheOnion stopped being funny just before they had their now cancelled IFC show. The tone and writing style was totally different after this. Even with the loss of the show, it hasn't 'jumped back' to the old style. -- Submitted By: (Scots) on April 5, 2013, 6:45 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
2 You know the Onion does a really good job when so many people think it's real. I especially like the Weather Channel "pro-weather" bias and the MacBook Wheel stories. Hilarious! -- Submitted By: (MacFan95) on December 1, 2010, 10:01 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote

4 It's true that people take articles put forth by The Onion as real. I remember seeing this letter in Reader's Digest long ago where the writer complained about her letter regarding J. K. Rowling and Harry Potter not being published in full. That writer went on and on in saying Rowling was a Satan worshiper...then came the kicker. The writer got the info from The Onion! -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on June 20, 2010, 9:11 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
