As soon as he was on the Dolphins, he got cut. The guy was definitely a talent, too bad though his ego knocked him down a few pegs. -- Submitted By: (PYLrulz) on November 30, 2012, 2:22 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
And now this flake is on the Dolphins. Pray for me, people. I need all of it I can get. -- Submitted By: (DolFan316) on July 10, 2012, 6:54 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
Definitely the name change. It's true that 85 is ochenta y seis, not ochocinco, but even if he was right, changing one's name to a uniform number is just lame, and IMO his career, coincidentally or not, boned the day he did it. -- Submitted By: (ParkerTillman) on July 9, 2012, 2:01 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
PYLrulz, Did he never consider that the possibility that he'd get married or have kids who'd have his name passed onto BEFORE the name change? Also, it doesn't seem as though he's Hispanic so I don't get that angle either. Oh, and just so everyone knows the only time one would say 'ocho cinco' [ eight five] postal code, etc. NOT when trying to say 'eighty-five'- his jersey number. Well, I say he should count his blessings that that lion ONLY peed on him. What was he thinking getting so close to that critter anyway? -- Submitted By: (Pelirojo) on March 13, 2012, 12:25 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
Well, he will be "Chad Johnson" again, since he is getting married, and doesn't want his wife to have a stupid last name. My how they grow up so quickly -- Submitted By: (PYLrulz) on March 13, 2012, 2:44 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
You know it's time to retire when a lion pisses on you. Kudos to the lion for doing, what I believe, most football fans want to do anyway. ochenta y cinco tu eres un idiota -- Submitted By: (Jp) on March 11, 2012, 1:06 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
I heard he's changing his name again. I shudder to think what it will be this time. -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on January 27, 2011, 9:12 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
I'd love it if he was traded to a team that wouldn't let him wear #85. -- Submitted By: (MSmith) on December 2, 2009, 7:26 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
Chad Johnson is lame. The name change is lame. Pretending to bribe the ref is lame. -- Submitted By: (trianna007) on November 29, 2009, 8:11 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
If he's going to change his name to something that's supposed to represent something in Spanish, he could at least use the language correctly. "Ochocinco" doesn't mean "eighty-five", it means "eight five". Eighty-five in Spanish is "ochenta y cinco". -- Submitted By: (ScottyB) on July 31, 2009, 6:22 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
