1 I used to watch this. Loved the TV movie where they built the rocket and went to the moon. It was silly and the effects were by no means state of the art even then, but it was fun. I liked the series less, but I did like it. For me, it boned when they ran out of story ideas that could make decent use of an old junk dealer with a rocket. In hindsight, somebody should have figured out that there weren't very many before they went and made a series out of it. As a premise, it doesn't leave a lot of room to move around. And seriously, once you've been to the moon, where do you go from there? But I guess none of that dawned on anybody until it was too late. So we got stories that didn't use the rocket at all, stories where it made a token appearance, stories that had the characters using it basically as an airplane for travel. And, of course, stories where they use the rocket for something other than a rocket, either whole or in pieces. The iceberg episode.
