Movie Series - Santa Clause, The

The Santa Clause starred Tim Allen as Scott Calvin, a man who is unpopular with his son and is going through a divorce with his wife. On Christmas eve, Santa Claus falls off his roof, and Scott puts on his outfit so he can finish Santa's mission to deliver presents. When he arrives at the North Pole, he learns that by putting on the suit, he accepted the terms of "The Santa Clause", making him the new Santa. Eight years pass in the Santa Clause 2, and Scott Calvin has two new problems...his son is on the naughty list, and he must find a Mrs. Claus or he will no longer be Santa, thus ending Christmas. In The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause, Jack Frost (who is played by Martin Short) manages to trick Scott into using the Escape Clause. They go back to the moment where Scott is about to put on the suit, and Jack dons it instead, becoming the new Santa and changing the future.

Santa Clause, The Comments (You must Login to Comment)

1 I love The Santa Clause series! Have to watch them every year at Christmas! They never fail to make me laugh! -- Submitted By: (TomPettyFan) on November 21, 2018, 1:37 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
2 Being a "Golden Age" film, along with the excellent show "Home Improvement", the first "Santa Clause" was great! However, when parts 2 and 3 came out, it just wasn't the same. Tim Allen was starting to become unknown, and Disney has already morphed into a "teen-to-young adult" studio. I wonder why the first movie hasn't made it to Blu yet? -- Submitted By: (SVN) on August 23, 2009, 3:54 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
3 Travltron, I saw folks mispelling St. Nick's name LONG before the movie came out. Of course, texting hasn't helped matters but that's another topic! -- Submitted By: (Pelirojo) on July 29, 2009, 2:50 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
4 The first movie is good but it was never even close to being worthy of a sequel. -- Submitted By: (MCS) on July 28, 2009, 12:38 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
5 Thanks to this movie, people all over America are misspelling the name "Santa Claus". -- Submitted By: (Travoltron) on July 23, 2009, 9:52 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
