Music Groups - Nelson

The twin sons of late rocker, Ricky Nelson, who formed the hair band "Nelson" in the late 1980's. Their debut album on Geffen Records, "After the Rain" went to #1 on Billboard in September 1990. Their smoldering good looks and long, blonde hair made these guys instant heartthrobs and they dominated MTV in the early 90's. In 2008, they reunited "Nelson" and are touring again, as well as doing a separate show: "Ricky Nelson Remembered" performing the hits of their father.

1 I often reminisce over how the Nelson Brothers resembled Chip and Pepper in ninety one. I liked After the Rain, though I would never tell anyone that, openly. -- Submitted By: (tvwatcher7) on September 13, 2014, 7:22 pm - (1 votes) - Login to Vote
2 I have a feeling the reaction to these two young fellows breaks along gender lines: Women love them and men (including me) are scratching their heads in confusion. -- Submitted By: (Soggy9000) on June 6, 2011, 2:21 pm - (-1 votes) - Login to Vote

4 Nelson has always rocked, and I still have not figured out why they do not get credit for the awesome music they produce. I have not heard a Nelson song that I have not loved. They are one of my all time favorite groups! -- Submitted By: (mommaj) on April 21, 2010, 3:59 pm - (6 votes) - Login to Vote
5 Musically, these guys still rock. Multi-talented performers who deserve more credit than they've received. They love what they do and have kept a good name for themselves as well as honoring their legendary late father and his music. Gunnar's foray into reality television in 2006 on "Celebrity Fit Club" could have been a lame thing but fortunately, he was cool, disciplined and acted like he was on there for all the right reasons, so it turned out to be good. I just wish more of their recordings, after they departed from the Geffen label, were actually available. -- Submitted By: (Stephanie) on June 25, 2009, 7:54 am - (7 votes) - Login to Vote
