What percentage of beauty pageant contestants are flaming narcissists? I'm guessing a very high percentage. What percentage of narcissists are seriously insecure? An even higher percentage. It is therefore unwise to allow former beauty pageant contestants to wield power over ordinary people. We should thank Ms Palin for reminding us of this. -- Submitted By: (Soggy9000) on June 6, 2011, 12:02 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
I heard Ann Coulter on CNN saying that she loved Sara Palin for her ability to make liberal heads spin. Funny, that's just the kind of strategy that I would prefer the conservatives to foucs on. -- Submitted By: (wilddrawfour) on June 5, 2011, 9:40 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
Palin is doing more harm to the anti-liberal movement than good. With allies like her, who needs enemies? At this point she and Donald Trump just need to go away before they wind up getting Obama elected a second time despite all common sense and logic. -- Submitted By: (DolFan316) on June 5, 2011, 2:12 am - (1 votes) - Login to Vote
I've already established I neither love nor hate her, but she's starting to get annoying. I mean, her critics' biggest issue is that she's always in the limelight, demanding attention. This bus tour just gives them a whole armory of ammunition. If someone bashed me for being an attention hog, I would not go on tours and stuff like this. I wonder if this is what Obama would be doing if McCain won... -- Submitted By: (Robert) on June 4, 2011, 10:20 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
Update to last post: Just heard Sarah's MANGLING of the story of Paul Revere. Can she really be this stupid? Is this the Tea Party's standard-bearer (or potential kingmaker) for next year's presidential race? Is this the right's light of salvation? Is this a legitimate heir to Ronald Reagan? (You can bet Reagan knew the Paul Revere story as well as anyone.) This is a woman in her 40s - a woman who fancies herself an American leader - and she is butt-ignorant of the details of one of the great events of her country's history. One would think that after 2008's exposure of her painfully limited brainpower, she would have decided it was time to give herself an education commensurate with her aspirations, and crack open a goddamn book or two. But no. In Sarah's world, all you need are ideological loyalty and nice legs; booklearnin' and such are tools of the Devil and must be avoided. -- Submitted By: (Soggy9000) on June 4, 2011, 2:22 am - (1 votes) - Login to Vote
I am square in the political middle, and I have no love for either the left or the right. But I do require that those who want power over me make a decent effort to read a book once in awhile. (And I'm not talking fiction books here.) Ms Palin appears to share the mindset one finds among certain corners of the conservative community which holds that reading books is overrated. While I would not argue that book knowledge is a good substitute for life experience or common sense, I do think it's a necessary companion to those traits for any person who wishes to wield great power in America. (History books in particular ought to be on the shelves and nightstands of every aspiring leader. Is that really so much to ask?) I can't possibly trust anyone who wants to rule over me but has little curiosity about the world beyond his or her limited horizon. -- Submitted By: (Soggy9000) on April 9, 2011, 7:21 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
She's slowly becoming passe and I think everyone will be better off because of this. -- Submitted By: (kingbk) on April 1, 2011, 12:57 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
Sarah Palin over exposed and burnd herself out first, leaving the State of Alaska and going on and staring in so call ed reality shows. Even I a Republican have a hard time seeing her as a viable candidate. -- Submitted By: (scatcatpdx) on March 31, 2011, 10:36 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
No. I stand by that statement, and anyone who is not intellectually lazy can see it. -- Submitted By: (BrewMaster) on February 3, 2011, 7:28 pm - (1 votes) - Login to Vote

I am not saying Obama is perfect or things are going well, but at least he did not quit his job in the middle of his term. If there is any reason why Palin boned that is it. Forget her political affiliation, her family life, or anything else about her. If you can't finish your term as a governor there is no way you are remotely qualified to be in the White House. That alone is why she cannot be taken seriously. -- Submitted By: (MCS) on November 12, 2010, 10:47 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
Yeah, because the current occupant of the Oval Office is SOOO much better. Palin is much more qualified to be President that Obama. -- Submitted By: (BrewMaster) on November 9, 2010, 8:25 am - (1 votes) - Login to Vote
If she was were elected as president of the US... God save us all. -- Submitted By: (Tobywaud) on November 8, 2010, 9:30 pm - (-1 votes) - Login to Vote
JamesO, she is definitely the Paris Hilton of politics. She is famous for being a governor who didn't serve out her entire term, a woman who hunts, and has a daughter who got knocked up. Paris really isn't famous for anything relevant. Anyone else wish Bristol would go away as well? She sure doesn't make me feel sorry for her being a teen mom. -- Submitted By: (MCS) on October 17, 2010, 10:12 pm - (-1 votes) - Login to Vote
A complete religious nutbar. If this is the best Republicans can come up with, the USA is doomed. -- Submitted By: (JustLooking) on September 17, 2010, 8:53 pm - (-3 votes) - Login to Vote
I'll still stand by my statement of Palin being an airhead. Really. Yeah, things are pretty bad with Obama running things right now, but if she were to ever run, and somehow win? That would be a nightmare. -- Submitted By: (PYLrulz) on September 11, 2010, 8:43 am - (-2 votes) - Login to Vote
Palin is the Paris Hilton of politics. She keeps finding ways to stay relevant. This has nothing to do with ideology, just an observation. -- Submitted By: (JamesO) on September 10, 2010, 6:36 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
It was a really foolish move to quit as Alaska's governor. It made her look like a quitter. And while I neither love nor hate her, I agree with kingbk that the jokes about her are getting old. One of the reasons she has so much media attention is because the people who make jokes against her are keeping her in the spotlight. No more anti-Sarah jokes means less media attention for Sarah Palin. -- Submitted By: (Robert) on September 9, 2010, 8:33 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
