TV Shows - Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman

Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman is a live-action American television series based on the Superman comic books. Lois & Clark aired on ABC from September 12, 1993 to June 14, 1997, and starred Dean Cain as Superman/Clark Kent and Teri Hatcher as Lois Lane. As the show's title suggests, it focuses as much on the relationship between Clark Kent and Lois Lane as on the adventures of Clark's alter-ego.

Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman Comments (You must Login to Comment)

1 The show was hamstrung towards later half of its run because they had to time the wedding of Lois and Clark to its massively hyped comic book equivalent. They had a wonderful wedding episode, where, through a set of circumstances, Perry White ended up as the minister performing the ceremony. This warm moment was immediately undercut by the revelation that the bride was not Lois at all, but a frog eating clone. When they got around to the "real" wedding, it was performed by an angel in what seemed to be a dream sequence. I was waiting for them to pull the "just kidding" card again, but no, this anticlimax was the actual wedding! -- Submitted By: (Hateaol) on January 12, 2014, 3:09 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
2 Superman reboots are just not for me. The more of them get done, the more Superman bones the fish. I'll take the TV series with George Reeves and the first movie with Christopher Reeve, but after that....pass! -- Submitted By: (ParkerTillman) on October 9, 2012, 4:42 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
