Movie Series - Wallace and Gromit
Wallace and Gromit is a collection of four British stop-motion animated short films and one full-length feature starring the cheese-loving inventor Wallace, and his intelligent dog friend Gromit. The series was created by Nick Park. The first short film is A Grand Day Out, which was released in 1989. They go to the moon for a picnic, thinking it is made out of cheese. The second short film, released in 1993, was The Wrong Trousers, in which Wallace creates a pair of robotic pants as a birthday present for Gromit. The third short film was A Close Shave, which was released in 1995. In it, they meet Shaun, a sheep who escapes from a diabolical bulldog. The fourth short film, released in 2008, was A Matter of Loaf and Death. It is a mock murder mystery in which the duo run a bakery. Before it was the full-length film, Curse of the Were-Rabbit, which was released in theatres 2005, and produced by Dreamworks. In all five films, Wallace is voiced by Peter Sallis, while Gromit is silent.
