All My Children, sometimes abbreviated by fans and the press as AMC, is an American soap opera and drama television series that has been broadcast Monday through Friday on the ABC TV network since January 5, 1970, and the daily episode also airs weeknights on SOAPnet. Well that's it, I'm never eating pancakes again. LOL But seriously, why is it that the soap opera genre is now extinct when reality shows make soaps look like high-quality drama? -- Submitted By: (DolFan316) on May 22, 2012, 8:11 pm - (0 votes)

AMC died long before Dixie ate the poisoned pancakes; it started with the introduction of the Cambias/Slater family, whose members had more backstories than the Bible, and who were involved in every storyline. Things just got worse with the introduction of the Careys, who lied, cheated and stole their way through Pine Valley and still wound up smelling like roses. -- Submitted By: (Luray) on May 18, 2012, 10:30 pm - (0 votes)

I watched from 1984(around the time Of Janny's death) to 2007(or so), I guess in a way I am a typical viewer in the sense that i was indicitive of the lack of continued interest. I will tune in again for the last few months because I figure they will through the kichen Sink in at this point. Tad and Erica anyone, heck,I would like to see that purely out of curiosity. I also hear that Zach is coming back, Zach rocked. -- Submitted By: (jonkaplanseaver) on May 8, 2011, 5:31 pm - (0 votes)
