I haven't seen this show in years, but from what I remember most of the litigants on this show were total morons. I can't really blame her for snapping at people like that, I don't suffer fools well either. -- Submitted By: (Travoltron) on December 8, 2011, 5:52 pm - (1 votes) - Login to Vote
I'd pay serious bucks to see that confrontation too. My own thoughts about this disgusting hag were just posted on the "Reality TV" page. Frankly, though, I feel no particular sympathy for the dolts who are so eager to appear on her show; they are there, rather than in a real courtroom, solely because they are attention whores like she is, and in that sense they deserve a certain measure of the verbal abuse they receive from her. But much of that abuse really is needless, except perhaps as a means of drawing viewers. Bottom line: Wouldn't it be wonderful to see Sheindlin on the receiving end of the sort of venom she's so happy to spit at others? -- Submitted By: (Soggy9000) on April 29, 2011, 2:01 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
Same here, Robert. That would be an on-camera meltdown to beat all on-camera meltdowns. -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on October 22, 2010, 3:09 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
jgf, I would LOVE to see that scenario unfold. -- Submitted By: (Robert) on October 9, 2010, 10:00 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
How long would such antics survive in a real courtroom? Judge Judy is shrill, narrow-mended, abusive, abrasive, openly insulting, smug, self-satisfied, and egocentric beyond belief. She has obviously decided the case before even appearing on stage. I would love to see the following interchange: Judge Judy: "On my worst day I'm smarter than you are on your best day! Now, what's your name?" Litigant: "Stephen Hawking" -- Submitted By: (jgf) on October 8, 2010, 11:31 pm - (2 votes) - Login to Vote
I call her Judge Bitch she not a very good judge I remember in 1998 (12 years ago) the case is early vs.tritt (forgot the defendest's last name) she don't listen to all sides or favors the plantiff JUDGE JUDY is BTF -- Submitted By: (thedude19766) on August 5, 2010, 11:46 am - (2 votes) - Login to Vote
She's too nasty and biased. What's worse is that the current judge for People's Court, Marilyn Milian, acts just like her. So that's two shows boning for the price of one. -- Submitted By: (Robert) on February 14, 2010, 1:24 pm - (3 votes) - Login to Vote
Judy is a judge that is supposed to be impartial but, all of her prejudices are too apparent. boned from day 1 in my book. -- Submitted By: (fletch000) on February 10, 2010, 3:48 pm - (2 votes) - Login to Vote
This show is horrible. Not only is Judy biased toward the 65+ crowd but she is also biased toward women. You know who will always win. And don't get me started on the over the top dramatics she is doing to get ratings. And what is up with the bailiff? -- Submitted By: (MCS) on October 1, 2009, 11:08 pm - (2 votes) - Login to Vote
Actually, I admit she's a guilty pleasure! You don't know how much I wish I could pull no punches with some of my colleagues at work using her catchphrases (e.g." DO I have 'stupid' written on my face?" "You're fulla baloney!" "I'm spea-KING!" "An' if it doesn't make sense, then it's a lie!",etc.)- often punctuated with her own set of referee hand-signals and desk banging! The only way the show's boning now is that it's gone to reruns yet still is billed in my local market as 'All New'. -- Submitted By: (Pelirojo) on June 5, 2009, 11:44 am - (1 votes) - Login to Vote
You are about to enter the courtroom of Judge Judith "The Shrill" Schindlen (or however it's spelled). Abandon all hope of a fair hearing if you are under 30 and your court room opponant is not. That is pretty much what happens in this court show. It's more about lets make the 65+ crowd happy by showing these young punks that justice is bias towards the geriatric set thanks to a judge who's very antics would result in a judical review board removing her from the bench. -- Submitted By: (meQal) on June 5, 2009, 4:06 am - (2 votes) - Login to Vote
