I actually liked this when I was younger.
The problem with the show was, by and large, 4Kids botched the translation process, like they always do. In the original Japanese, Kirby did speak actual lines (not complete lines, as it was established that he was juvenile, but was able to communicate with several of the other characters), it had moments that rivaled the original Zero battle in the games (such as one of the secondary characters wanting to kill Meta Knight, believing his knights were responsible for her mother's death), and the show was more of a satire built upon us Yankees (there was a multi-part episode built around George W. Bush's infamous "weapons of mass destruction" search with King Dedede playing that role). Unfortunately, it was then devolved into this goofy cartoon where Kirby looked incompetent and the other characters were typecast into roles seen with many a bad cartoon done domestically. -- Submitted By: (JDogindy) on October 12, 2011, 9:25 am - (0 votes)

It's one those another reason why some video games shoudn't be a cartoon show or this case an anime. -- Submitted By: (SSM) on January 15, 2011, 6:12 am - (0 votes)

Piece of pure garbage. To the person who voted "Never Boned": If you're not a moron, there's no way Frankie Valli was born in 1934! Frankie Valli was born in 1937! -- Submitted By: (Marcus) on December 26, 2009, 8:46 am - (0 votes)

What a train wreck. I turn on the TV, hoping to see one of my favorite Nintendo characters finally in his very own cartoon. Instead of a cute little guy who's tougher than he looks, I'm treated to Kirby starring as an idiot, jumping around cooing like a baby and going "Puyo!" over and over. The cartoon may be called "Kirby", but don't be fooled. It was about the people in that Cappy Town. Kirby was just some prop, not a character. -- Submitted By: (Robert) on May 21, 2009, 11:36 am - (0 votes)
