The Best Page in the Universe was created by George Ouzounian, better known as Maddox, who writes satirical works, as well as what he thinks about various people, places, and things. His works involve profanity, vulgarity, illustrations, and humor. The site was launched in 1997 and is currently hosted by XMission.com. Maddox also wrote a book, "The Alphabet of Manliness", which was published in June 2006.

Maddox's site was ruined when he started doing all of his other projects. What made his site great before was that he was a pissed off everyman working at a job he hated and living in a world he couldn't stand. It was something nearly all of us can relate to. Now he's a quasi-celebrity and on the rare occasions where he does update the website it's usually just about some piece of technology.
