3 Papa John's makes okay pizza, but the main thing I enjoy is the garlic butter dipping sauce that comes with every pizza. -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on December 29, 2010, 10:23 am - (2 votes) - Login to Vote

7 It's far from the best pizza you can buy, especially if you have some good local places, but Papa John's is pretty decent, and MUCH better than some other chains (Dominos and Pizza Hut, I'm looking at you). I give them a "never boned" because while they haven't exactly blown my mind, they've never really disappointed me either. -- Submitted By: (Hanglyman) on July 1, 2009, 3:14 pm - (2 votes) - Login to Vote
8 I come from New York City. This may sound like an egotistical New Yorker comment, but New York pizza is the best anywhere. I've been in many other states, and the pizza just doesnt compare to New York's. About 8 years ago I took a trip to Los Angeles, CA. Near my motel was a Papa John's pizza place. At that time I never heard of Papa Johns (today there are a few Papa Johns near where I live), but I decided to give it a try. I bought a pie, brought it to my motel room and ate it there. Dont get me wrong. It wasnt BAD pizza, but in taste, quality, and similarity, it was just like a pizza from Dominos. And both places are quite inferior to the traditional pizzas made here in New York by the small business pizza places. -- Submitted By: (bmovies) on June 19, 2009, 3:42 pm - (1 votes) - Login to Vote
