Celebrities - George W. Bush
George Walker Bush served as the 43rd President of the United States from 2001 to 2009. He was the 46th Governor of Texas from 1995 to 2000 before being sworn in as President on January 20, 2001.
Bush is the eldest son of the 41st U.S. President George H. W. Bush and Barbara Bush. After graduating from Yale University in 1968, and Harvard Business School in 1975, Bush worked in his family's oil businesses. He married Laura Welch in 1977 and unsuccessfully ran for the United States House of Representatives shortly thereafter. He later co-owned the Texas Rangers baseball team before defeating Ann Richards to become Governor of Texas in 1994. In a close and controversial election, Bush was elected president in 2000 as the Republican candidate, receiving a majority of the electoral votes, but losing the popular vote to then Vice President Al Gore.

Bill Clinton did not keep us safe. He lowered our defenses so much, the 9/11 attacks took place in 2001. -- Submitted By: (Marcus) on June 18, 2009, 9:59 am - (1 votes)

I find it very telling there are now more votes for never boned than there is boned from the start. Bush wasn't the worst president ever, not even close. It's just that the liberal media brainwashed the American sheep into thinking so. The most evil man of all time? Give me a break!
I'm not saying he was great mind you, just that he didn't suck. And right now I'd give anything for a president who doesn't suck. -- Submitted By: (DolFan316) on June 10, 2009, 1:31 am - (1 votes)

Actually, he still does. Just because he was replaced with another terrible president, it doesn't make him any better. -- Submitted By: (neo11) on May 15, 2009, 3:17 pm - (1 votes)
