He's supporting the OWS movement, even though he's part of the "1%". When a reporter confronted him over this hypocrisy, he snapped at them. -- Submitted By: (Robert) on November 15, 2011, 2:31 pm - (1 votes) - Login to Vote
Michael Moore was one of the only celebs I can recall that believed O.J. didn't do it. He probably still thinks that. I should have realized he was an idiot back then. There were some vids of him being a general ass in Japan (apparently he hates them; they are capitalists), but YouTube pulled them. No opinion on the Brazillian President, however the way it is written is shameless! Even during "praise" of something, this guy cannot withhold whinning about his country. I have one thing to say to you, Mr. Moore, and it is in the following link; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6EEyk-iohLw -- Submitted By: (johnnydough) on August 1, 2011, 3:54 am - (2 votes) - Login to Vote
Relax, Soggy. We know you're glad a great evil has been eliminated and that you're not jumping on the "cry for the wolf" bandwagon. -- Submitted By: (Robert) on May 13, 2011, 8:40 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
Again (and hopefully fot the last time), I am GLAD he was killed. But you'll recall that contingency plans did exist for the SEALs to take him alive, if the right circumstances fell into place. As such, killing him some time after he was in our custody, without provocation by him, would have been questionable. It's simply the difference between killing an enemy soldier on a battlefield and killing him after he has surrendered and been disarmed and is being walked back to the rear. -- Submitted By: (Soggy9000) on May 13, 2011, 5:55 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
Soggy, I understand your point on a fair trial, but there is no comparison between the enemies of Stalin, Mao, etc. to Osama. Most of those tyrants' enemies were innocent people whose only crimes were questioning their governments' actions and policies (or failing to meet their quota), and were killed without a trial because their beliefs could not be tolerated. Osama, on the other hand, was a murderous beast. He was a danger and had to be removed. The purpose of a trial is to find out if a defendant is guilty or not, and to give them the chance to defend themselves. Then, there's the chance that he'd escape if caught alive. His death saved us the cost of a trial, considering these hard economic times. -- Submitted By: (Robert) on May 13, 2011, 12:09 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
Is he even relevant anymore? With Bush gone, the MSM has no need for him. Same with former media darling Cindy Sheehan; now that she's an Anti-Obama kook instead of an anti-Bush kook, the media won't touch her. By the way, if you want to see a great parody of Michael Moore, check out David Zucker's "An American Carol". -- Submitted By: (Travoltron) on May 12, 2011, 10:01 pm - (1 votes) - Login to Vote
Had he been taken alive - and again I want to stress that I'm glad he wasn't - it would have been un-American to have executed him without a fair trial. Those of you who approve of the way Hitler and Stalin and Mao and Ho Chi Minh and Saddam Hussein got rid of their enemies are welcome to disagree with me on this, but I believe America has higher ethical standards than those guys had. -- Submitted By: (Soggy9000) on May 12, 2011, 8:27 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
@Soggy: I can't really say that I disagree with his thoughts about Osama being hanged, but I don't see the point of giving him a trial. -- Submitted By: (cartooner) on May 12, 2011, 6:08 pm - (2 votes) - Login to Vote

And where would they have been able to find twelve potential jurors who'd never heard of Bin Laden and would have had no opinion on what he admitted orchestrating- PLUTO?! -- Submitted By: (Pelirojo) on May 12, 2011, 10:53 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
In Moore's defense (and this is the FIRST time I have ever defended anything that has come out of that lowlife's pie hole), he said we should have tried OBL and then hanged him. That doesn't sound terribly unreasonable enough to me, though I'm glad we splattered his brains all over his bedroom instead. -- Submitted By: (Soggy9000) on May 12, 2011, 8:03 am - (3 votes) - Login to Vote
Michael Moore thinks Osama bin Laden deserved a fair trial? *facepalm* Just when I think people can't possibly be any dumber, someone like Michael Moore proves me wrong. -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on May 12, 2011, 12:19 am - (2 votes) - Login to Vote

Unbelieveable. Michael Moore is standing up for Osama. He's bashing Americans for celebrating OBL's demise and goes on about how he deserved "a fair trial". Sadder still? He's not the only one with these sentiments. Which neurons in their skulls are so faulty they'd rush to the defense of this inhuman monster?! -- Submitted By: (Robert) on May 11, 2011, 10:34 am - (1 votes) - Login to Vote

lrbloom- I dont think you should go to Cuba, I think RATM and MM should go to Cuba- they HATE america and capitalism!! Go to the socialist paradise of Cuba!!! And they DO have the freedom to look like idiots and stay in the country that they think is evil. And we have the freedom to point out they are hypocrites that dont have the balls to actually act out on their alleged beliefs. One more thing about MM- if he had any balls, he would expose $cientology in a documentary, but he won't because they would come after him full tilt- it's easier to bash George Bush and Insurance companies. -- Submitted By: (Chubby Rain) on January 20, 2011, 1:36 pm - (1 votes) - Login to Vote
In the first place I don't want to go to Cuba. If I get sick maybe I'll got to Canada or England. One of the things that our country is built on is the right to free speech even to badmouth the system on which it's built a little is acceptable. I don't think that MM or myself are against capitalism just that it needs to cleaned up a little bit. The idea is that some people are profiting by exploiting the suffering of others such as the people in "Sicko" and perhaps some other way of providing medical treatment would be better than robbing the poor and the disabled of every last dime you can squeeze from them. The insurance companies are shown clearly to be crooks and I think that MM makes sense here in a lot of ways. Atleast it's examining alternatives. MM just makes movies like any other producer or director and I'm not bothered by the fact that he gets paid for it. Better to give your money to an honest film maker than a crooked insurance company. We knew when we paid our money at the box office that a percentage was going to the people who made it which is more than we can say for the insurance companies. Why is it that people who create music or movies are expected to work for free? Like anything else the entertainment industry takes money to make money. Capitalism works just fine but why should it work for only a chosen few? It needs to be cleaned up a little bit from time to time. From the looks of things we might be able to learn a lesson form our neighbors up north or across the sea. It is certainly food for thought and that's what we're all about is the freedom to speak and to think. -- Submitted By: (lrbloom) on January 20, 2011, 6:13 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
I just love it when another one of these phonies comes along and bitches how america is horrible, how america is a terrible place, how america is a greedy capitalist empire. Yet they live in the country they hate, are richer than you and me, and seem to never give their money to anybody. Michale Moore is one of the worst types of Left-wing Nutjobs, since everything is a conspiracy with him, he acts like a homeless man on the sidewalk shouting the end is near. Just shut up and live in your comfortable mansion you phony. -- Submitted By: (Mr.Zimpy) on January 20, 2011, 5:30 am - (2 votes) - Login to Vote
lrbloom- the reason that many of us feel that MM and RATM are just plain old hypocrites is, if they really hated that crazy capitalist thing, then move to Cuba, or even ask to move in with the dear leader in North Korea (much less likely- I see Cuba as a real possibility), liquidate all of their assets, and earnings, and give them to the state, and work for the state producing art, for the Communist state. The NK thing probably is not possible, Im not sure you oculd get in, but Im sure Cuba would welcome both with open arms, and would allow them to produce their art. And if they are true believers in a socialist state, they would have state sponsored conerts, films, and live like everyone else. In fact, then they could both campaign and promote for capitalists to emigrate to Cuba and be socialists, if it was indeed so great. So until something like that happens, I will gladly (and accurately) call both of these entities what they are, hypocrites. You can bash capitalism all you want, but when you are hip deep in it bad mouthing it, don't expect anyone with an IQ above room temperature to take you seriously. -- Submitted By: (Chubby Rain) on January 20, 2011, 3:33 am - (2 votes) - Login to Vote
