TV Shows - Little People,Big World
Starting in 2006, this was one of the cable channel TLC's first recurring reality shows about a family. In this case, the Roloffs are a family living in rural Oregon who have the distinction of having both parents (Matt and Amy) being dwarfs (or 'little people') yet still having successfully borne four children including a set of twins! Three out of the four children are average sized while their other child (one of the twins) is a dwarf like his parents. Harvests, numerous building renovations, and frequent vacations are featured on this program- along with how Matt, Amy, and their son Zach deal with being little people in a big world which includes their active involvement in Little People of America and its numerous works on behalf of dwarfs and midgets. This show has not been without its controversies- including the notorious Trebuchet Incident which seriously injured their youngest child and a close family friend.

i watched this show and the parents are clearly favoring their "little person" son over their other children. Also, the father is so "racist" against anyone who isnt a little person. Watch an episode see how often he says "Its hard being a little person because..." -- Submitted By: (VeritechRyan) on October 19, 2010, 12:26 am - (0 votes)
