TV Shows - Quincy M.E.

Jack Klugman stars as Dr. Quincy, an opinionated medical examiner in Los Angeles County. Quincy frequently battled with police and his superiors as he attempted to prove his nagging suspicions of foul play in deaths with seemingly obvious explanations. A widower, Quincy lived alone on a houseboat and spent his off time at Danny's Pub.

2 It boned when Quincy accidentally refers to the Gary Walberg character as "Speed".....and they let it air! -- Submitted By: (ParkerTillman) on June 15, 2012, 3:21 pm - (2 votes) - Login to Vote
3 Quincy was popular for as long as it was because its fan base was alot older than we are, and therefore not nearly as picky as we are. -- Submitted By: (Soggy9000) on May 23, 2011, 1:37 pm - (1 votes) - Login to Vote
4 Too true, Pelirojo! I could never figure out this show's appeal...Klugman is just Oscar Madison. If you see him on earlier episdes of the Twilight Zone, for example, he's always playing EXACTLY the same part -- always the same accent, same delivery, same "urgency", too serious to take seriously. Never, NEVER understood this show lasting like it did. Boned from the start. -- Submitted By: (HistoryProf) on July 27, 2010, 1:17 pm - (1 votes) - Login to Vote
5 When Quincy would try to get serious and intense, Oscar Madison always seemed to be channelled here! Sorry, but Klugman wasn't able to vanquish his comedic persona as effectively as Buddy Ebsen had when he played Barnaby Jones! -- Submitted By: (Pelirojo) on November 3, 2009, 5:01 pm - (1 votes) - Login to Vote
