Sorry, but HFCS isn't good. Those commercials where they say "sugar is sugar" is just corn farmers trying to spin it in a positive light. Sugar in general isn't good for you, but HFCS is digested in the human body differently than regular sugar. That's where the health issues lie. HFCS is much more fattening than regular sugar. The truth is there really is no nutritional value at all in soda. You drink it regularly, you will get fat, rot your teeth, and potentially get diabetes no matter if it's HFCS or sugar. -- Submitted By: (kingbk) on July 19, 2013, 12:17 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
I heard that HFCS is not the demon they make it out to be, as sugar is sugar; they just get it from corn instead of sugarcane. Sort of like using honey instead of sugarcane when making tea or coffee. Ironically, the food police demanded HFCS be used because sugar was evil. Now they backpedal, saying HFCS is evil. Either way, too much sugar is bad for anyone. That said, I tried Throwback Pepsi as well. I like both versions: regular versions' syrupy texture, and Throwback's sugar and spicy flavor. Sometimes, I drink Mexican Pepsi (sugarcane instead of HFCS), which is delicious. -- Submitted By: (Robert) on July 18, 2013, 12:45 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote

I've never liked Pepsi, Blah! I can't really say day 1 because they've been around longer than I have. But I will say, it BTF'd when I first tried it. -- Submitted By: (Jp) on July 10, 2013, 7:31 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
Pepsi is O.K. Cherry is good, Throwback is always awesome. Pepsi lacks the kick and potency Coke has, and it's a bit on the overly-sweet side, but it's still a decent drink. -- Submitted By: (Crewman) on July 6, 2013, 12:34 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
Nothing's more disappointing than going to a restaurant, ordering a Coke and being asked "is Pepsi okay?" There's a reason Pepsi is now the third most popular soft drink after Coke/Diet Coke. -- Submitted By: (kingbk) on June 26, 2012, 6:15 pm - (1 votes) - Login to Vote
@stryker73 - Yeah, I remember Like soda. It was available back when I was 7 or 8 years old, living in Chicago at the time. Anyway, about Pepsi...it's so-so with me - I prefer Mountain Dew. -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on June 26, 2012, 5:44 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote

Pepsi *clearly* tastes worse than Coke. It's not even a matter of debate. Not that either should be consumed on a regular basis. -- Submitted By: (DolFan316) on June 21, 2012, 6:52 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote

Sugar is better than HFCS. And it's more natural, too. -- Submitted By: (Robert) on May 7, 2009, 11:35 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
Give me a break! Do you really want to think something never boned when the stuff that's in it is fatty crap?! High fructose corn syrup is a high-calorie sweetener that's really just a combination of fructose, and yes, cornstarch. Enjoy drinking the stuff while you last, but if you die of a heart attack, you deserved it. -- Submitted By: (Marcus) on May 6, 2009, 4:00 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
