Celebrities - James Cameron
James Francis Cameron (born August 16, 1954) is an Academy Award winning Canadian-American director, producer and screenwriter. He has written and directed films as disparate as Aliens and Titanic. To date, his directorial efforts have grossed approximately US$1.1 billion domestically, unadjusted for inflation. After a string of landmark feature films, Cameron turned his focus to documentary filmmaking and the co development of the digital 3 D Fusion Camera System. He is currently working on a return to feature filmmaking with the science fiction film Avatar, which will make use of the Fusion Camera System technology. Avatar is scheduled for release in December 2009.
Cameron is noted for his films which are often highly innovative, artistic and financially successful as well as his fierce temper and confrontational personality.

That's probably it, they probably mixed up Kirk with James. Considering they both have the same last name... -- Submitted By: (Robert) on May 21, 2011, 10:42 am - (0 votes)

I think they might have confused James Cameron with Kirk Cameron. -- Submitted By: (SSM) on May 20, 2011, 7:18 pm - (1 votes)

He's not a rightwinger either. Someone has clearly confused him with someone else. -- Submitted By: (Soggy9000) on May 20, 2011, 1:31 am - (2 votes)

That "Evangelical Christian" reason is incorrect. James Cameron is NOT a Christian, nor would he identify himself as one. -- Submitted By: (Robert) on May 19, 2011, 11:27 am - (2 votes)

Yeah, I guess one could say that James Cameron is the Cecil B. DeMille of the New Millenium. Oh, yeah, Mr. DeMille was ALSO quite the egomaniac who thought he was far more talented and insightful than he was. -- Submitted By: (Pelirojo) on May 18, 2011, 8:33 am - (0 votes)

Several directors are perfectionists, although James Cameron is definitely one of the bigger ones who ranks up there with Stanley Kubrick. -- Submitted By: (cartooner) on May 17, 2011, 8:15 pm - (0 votes)

James Cameron is a perfectionist. He gave Hell to the people working on Titanic because their work failed to meet his high expectations. I've heard he treats people like garbage if he's got nothing to lose from them. He has a reputation of being "a nightmare to work with" and has a "flaming temper". I can understand wanting a film to be the best it can be, but there's no reason to treat people so poorly. -- Submitted By: (Robert) on May 17, 2011, 2:22 pm - (1 votes)

Considering that the "day one" option is gone and the "never boned" option looks like it was recently brought back, I'm going to assume that this was another topic that fell victim of vote stuffing.
But anyway, I'm going to be honest when I say that the only James Cameron movies I've ever seen are Terminator and Terminator 2 (that's right, I've never seen Avatar or Titanic). -- Submitted By: (cartooner) on November 27, 2010, 9:51 pm - (0 votes)

I definitely say he has never boned. Terminator 1 & 2 rocked, so did Aliens, so did Titanic and so did Avatar. He is one of the modern talents of Hollywood and he makes CGI look real. The King of the World still holds his title. -- Submitted By: (johnnydough) on April 30, 2010, 1:04 am - (0 votes)

Just saw AVATAR- huge disappointment- just a byunch of Anti American/Liberal Hippy Eco propaganda. Huge Let DOWN! PAss the slaw on this for a Bone in JC's career. Next time, hire a writer. Basically this was a whiny "Dances with Wolves" in the future. I was rooting for the Marines (Bad guys apparently) by the end of the film. -- Submitted By: (Chubby Rain) on January 3, 2010, 10:24 am - (0 votes)

Five words: "I'm king of the world!" The minute he uttered that infamous phrase he boned the fish. Everybody just had to say those words and use the word "titanic" as a filler word much as the word "random" is used today. Now if I see his name I never consider watching. -- Submitted By: (MCS) on May 3, 2009, 7:13 pm - (0 votes)
