In the second, he has been fitted with an artificial heart which requires electric shocks to keep it running. Crank was released in theaters in the USA on September 1s, 2006, and the sequel, Crank: High Voltage, was released in theaters in the USA on April 17th, 2009. It was released 1 day earlier in the UK.

1 I generally like Jason Statham, but Crank was damn near unwatchable. In fact, I did stop watching, which is rare for me. It was just a jumpy, confusing assault on the senses. I know that was the idea, but when ramping up the action, there is a point at which it stops being fun and just gives you a headache. -- Submitted By: (AndyC) on October 10, 2009, 11:58 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
