1 Albertsons boned the fish many years ago when they took over Lucky Stores in California. Albertsons was known in California but Lucky was dominant. 4 Never boned/entered. Albertsons is one of the best supermarkets I have ever been to in my life. I especially thought their bakery was excellent; I love their cakes! If I recall correctly, didn't they used to be THE national chain before we had Wal-Mart Supercenters and such? 5 Between Albertsons, Winn-Dixie, and Publix, Albertsons always had the highest prices of all three of them in my area. But when it came to sales, they blew the competition out of the water.
