Bone The Fish - Most Recent Comments!

Who said you can't coin your own term? What is "Boning the Fish"? It's a moment. A defining moment when you know that your favorite TV Show, Celebrity, Movie Series or Music Group has reached its peak. That instant you know from now on...it's all downhill. Some call it a climax of sorts. We call it "Boning the fish". From that moment on things will simply never be the same.

this show was so weird and had a neat crystal gimmick. but overall, poor. product placement! -- Submitted By: (VeritechRyan) on October 19, 2010, 10:10 pm

Adventures of Pete & Pete, The - TV Shows
one of the greatest shows Nickelodeon ever made. it was so OUT THERE weird and had a cast of characters that were just so bizarre. Its too bad no one else went on to do other things. -- Submitted By: (VeritechRyan) on October 19, 2010, 10:07 pm

Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius, The - TV Shows

Dallas Cowboys - Random Topics
The Cowboys are playing terribly right now because Wade Phillips doesn't instill discipline in his players, therefore they make stupid, easily avoidable mistakes. Maybe when Jerry ships him out for a better coach they can start winning games again! -- Submitted By: (ScottyB) on October 19, 2010, 8:12 pm

Mario Lopez - Celebrities
Hey preppy! Never was a fan of this guy. Always gave me the cocky vibe. And seriously, you cheat on Ali Landry, Ali freakin' Landry! You cheat on the Doritos girl, you automatically bone the fish. -- Submitted By: (kingbk) on October 19, 2010, 8:11 pm

Big Time Rush - TV Shows
Really, did Nickelodeon not learn from the epic failure that was the Naked Brothers Band that making poorly-directed TV shows about overrated boy bands does not make for high-quality programming? I suppose if there's anything to be said in BTR's defense, it's that they're a good deal less annoying than that Justin Bieber clone Nat Wolff and his annoying little brother. -- Submitted By: (ScottyB) on October 19, 2010, 8:06 pm

Martin Lawrence - Celebrities
The last movie I liked from him was THE FIRST Big Mama's House. Can't think of another film he's put out since that was any good. -- Submitted By: (octogirlpretty) on October 19, 2010, 12:00 pm

Mario Lopez - Celebrities
I actually met this guy at a convention and he is such a vain man. It was a very odd and unpleasant encounter. Never liked him on SBTB either. -- Submitted By: (octogirlpretty) on October 19, 2010, 11:39 am

Salute Your Shorts - TV Shows
@VeritechRyan: I totally agree with you! I was at a friends house the other day and she was watching iCarly (a grown woman watching that...pshh) and I was offended by the garbage they have today! Salute You Shorts was, though dated, a great show that was actually FUNNY. I could probably watch it today and still laugh. -- Submitted By: (octogirlpretty) on October 19, 2010, 11:36 am

ALF - TV Shows
Early on, ALF was entertaining with ALF driving the Tanners up the wall (especially Willie) with his shenanigans. Later seasons - it seemed like ALF had mellowed and the Tanners were more understanding. When it boned...I daresay later seasons. -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on October 19, 2010, 11:26 am

Price Is Right, The - TV Shows
I doubt Drew Carey will ever fill Bob Barker's shoes, but he at least puts forth an effort. -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on October 19, 2010, 11:24 am

Reality Television - Random Topics
Reality TV sucked from day one. All it did was bring forth trashy shows and people who have no business in being called famous. Thanks to reality TV, I no longer watch TV because I value my brain cells a lot. -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on October 19, 2010, 11:20 am

Bridezillas - TV Shows
To the trashy brides, I leave...a boot to the head. And another boot for the wimps they're gonna marry! -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on October 19, 2010, 11:17 am

18 Kids and Counting - TV Shows
True - Michelle Duggar isn't a hell-raising harridan like Kate Gosselin, and Mr. Duggar isn't a spineless wimp like Jon Gosselin. But I still say it's ridiculous they're pumping out kid after kid when there's no reason to do that. -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on October 19, 2010, 11:14 am

Tic Tac Dough - TV Shows
Tic Tac Dough was at its best with Wink Martindale as host. I always looked forward to the bonus round and tried guessing which square had the Dragon. -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on October 19, 2010, 11:12 am

Joker's Wild, The - TV Shows
The Joker's Wild didn't feel the same after Jack Barry died, but Bill Cullen did the best he could - I admit that. I read somewhere that Barry was going to step down in late '84 and somebody else was going to take over, but the Grim Reaper beat him to the punch. -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on October 19, 2010, 11:10 am

Blockbusters - TV Shows
Blockbusters was one of many game shows I watched in my youth and still remember fondly. I watched it in reruns on GSN long ago and watched a family pair (mother & daughter) do a perfect 20-game run (win the match ($500 per game, 2 games to win, do the math) and win the $5,000 bonus round each time) for a grand total of $120,000. -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on October 19, 2010, 11:08 am

Duckman - TV Shows
Duckman was freaking hilarious - I hated the fact they ended it on a cliffhanger (Duckman about to marry King Chicken's ex when Duckman's allegedly dead wife shows up). -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on October 19, 2010, 11:05 am

Mega Man (TV series) - TV Shows
I have mixed feelings about this - on one hand, I didn't like how Proto Man was a villain, or the fact they reused Cut Man and Guts Man (and just about every episode, there would be a bad pun from Cut Man as well). Another minus would be the bad puns used by other Robot Masters that made an appearance. The stories weren't bad, it's just that they should have been more faithful to the subject matter and cooled it with the puns. -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on October 19, 2010, 11:03 am

Gene Simmons Family Jewels - TV Shows
Gene Simmons is nothing but a giant blow-hard who thinks that just because his band has the most merchandise that it is the biggest band in the world. I think its great songs and sales that make a great band. they have sold 100 million cd's worldwide, but havent had a top 20 album in over 15 years, even though they've released 5 in that time. -- Submitted By: (VeritechRyan) on October 19, 2010, 9:58 am

Brak Show, The - TV Shows
i'll never understand the hatred for this show. I honestly loved the first season and thought it was so crazy and unique and interesting. I got a boston terrier during its first season and named him after the character "Thundercleese", who was the giant robot who lives down the street. -- Submitted By: (VeritechRyan) on October 19, 2010, 9:50 am

Lil Wayne - Music Groups
No matter how much I hate to say it, Weazy is a great entertainer. Going out of his element and releasing a rock album was a risky move, but it just shows how he is truely growing as an artist. Gotta give this guy his props. -- Submitted By: (octogirlpretty) on October 19, 2010, 1:01 am

Star Trek: Deep Space 9 - TV Shows
i was a huge TNG fan, and watched DS9 through season 3, missed the entire dominion war, and watching it on DVD made me realize it was way better than i remember. -- Submitted By: (VeritechRyan) on October 19, 2010, 12:28 am

Little People,Big World - TV Shows
i watched this show and the parents are clearly favoring their "little person" son over their other children. Also, the father is so "racist" against anyone who isnt a little person. Watch an episode see how often he says "Its hard being a little person because..." -- Submitted By: (VeritechRyan) on October 19, 2010, 12:26 am

i really wanted to like this show, since i liked Fairly Oddparents, but wow, this show just wasnt very good. its a shame, since it had a lot of potential -- Submitted By: (VeritechRyan) on October 19, 2010, 12:22 am

Assy McGee - TV Shows
ok, the first time i saw this show, i absolutely hated it. then i gave it a second watch, and it just clicked and i was hooked. -- Submitted By: (VeritechRyan) on October 19, 2010, 12:20 am

Queer as Folk (US Version) - TV Shows
My favorite show of all time. Was too young when the show started in '00, but when I turned 13 (in '05 - just as the series ended) I bought season one at FYI and fell in love immediately. Though the end of the series is a bit of a let down and maybe even a little confusing (leaving many questions unanswered), the overall nastalgia that I have for it, and the great performances and beatiful moments, live forever in Showtime history. What a great, great show. -- Submitted By: (octogirlpretty) on October 18, 2010, 11:41 pm

Salute Your Shorts - TV Shows
show was so good, and you watch that then look at the shows Nick cranks out now and you wonder what went wrong -- Submitted By: (VeritechRyan) on October 18, 2010, 11:34 pm

Queer Duck - TV Shows
I loved Queer Duck!! All the main characters had names that would reference their respective gay subculture sects. Can quote episodes of this to this day! "Fiddler on the Roofie" has to be my favorite episode...so damn funny! -- Submitted By: (octogirlpretty) on October 18, 2010, 11:33 pm

Garth Marenghi's Darkplace - TV Shows

Fanboy and Chum Chum - TV Shows
i hate to admit i like this, but the show is decent. but its poor in comparison to the Penguins of Madagascar -- Submitted By: (VeritechRyan) on October 18, 2010, 11:18 pm

Leah Remini - Celebrities
I liked her on KoQ. I thought she was funny and somewhat real (though I see what you mean). IRL though, she seems to be like Carey in the way that she is a bit of a shrew. I don't like what I see of the real Car- I mean, Leah Remini. -- Submitted By: (octogirlpretty) on October 18, 2010, 11:18 pm

3rd Rock from the Sun - TV Shows
i actually got to go to the filming of the finale episode. they wanted us vamped for scenes, so we cheered and clapped really loud at points and we got a copy of the producers scripts of the episode, which had their notes in it and everything. -- Submitted By: (VeritechRyan) on October 18, 2010, 11:16 pm

Robotech - TV Shows
the first anime series I ever got into was Robotech. Was hard to watch in michigan in the 80's, especially since there was some anti-japan feelings due to the auto industry being there. but it was a great show. some slip ups (the 2nd war is just so... shoe horned in there), but to take 3 series and melt them into a coherent story (more or less) is really impressive -- Submitted By: (VeritechRyan) on October 18, 2010, 11:05 pm

Corner Gas - TV Shows
found this show on whatever channel it was on in america, changing times, days, etc. loved it. even bought merchandise from them. one of the funniest shows in a long long time -- Submitted By: (VeritechRyan) on October 18, 2010, 11:03 pm

Challenge of the GoBots - TV Shows

Assy McGee - TV Shows
Sounds like it could be funny, but after the initial shock of a walking, talking, gun slinging ass...what else is there? It was a lame, gimicky, run of the mill animation for adults on Adult Swim which, like many of it's predecessors, came and left quicker than you could wipe your Assy Mcgee. -- Submitted By: (octogirlpretty) on October 18, 2010, 11:01 pm

Captain Power and the Soldiers of the Future - TV Shows
i remember having a toy or two from this series. my gi joes went nicely in them -- Submitted By: (VeritechRyan) on October 18, 2010, 11:00 pm

Beck - Music Groups
@Pelirojo: That is 100% true, but Beck is not a practicing $cientologist. His only relation to it is him being born into it. That is like saying that you don't like a kid because he has rude parents. Will the kid nessisarily be rude, too? -- Submitted By: (octogirlpretty) on October 18, 2010, 10:49 pm

In Search of... - TV Shows
Always thought it ironic that this show always argued for the most bizarre and illogical interpretations yet had Nimoy for the host. Just saying. -- Submitted By: (Pelirojo) on October 18, 2010, 8:26 pm

Wizard of Oz, The - Movie Series
In terms of an actual sequel instead of remake, I think there was something called "Return to Oz" back in the 80's starring Fairuza Balk which featured a talking rock. Yep, even "The Wiz" proved to be more memorable! -- Submitted By: (Pelirojo) on October 18, 2010, 8:23 pm

Wham! - Music Groups
I never had more than passing tolerance for this band at its height (and why THIS band was the one greenlighted to be the very first rock band to have a concert in Mainland China, I never understood). Now it seems to blend in with so many other bands from that era. -- Submitted By: (Pelirojo) on October 18, 2010, 8:20 pm

Beck - Music Groups
Regardless of whether he was born into Scientology or not, consumers need to carefully consider whether they want to spend their hard-earned cash on buying his products due to a high probability of a good portion of it going to Scientology. If folks don't want to support Scientology, there are plenty of talented musicians out there they can give their monies to besides him. -- Submitted By: (Pelirojo) on October 18, 2010, 8:09 pm

High School - Random Topics
For me, high school was rather cliquish but in retrospect, I'm glad I went through it so I'd be able to deal with cliquishness in college and the workplace! Still, I think parents need to be extra careful NEVER to tell their kids that high school's the 'best years of their lives'- because more than one depressed kid's taken that literally and seen no point in living beyond that time. Needless and tragic. -- Submitted By: (Pelirojo) on October 18, 2010, 8:06 pm

TLC (The Learning Channel) - Random Topics
True, acobjum- to say nothing of how it's shamelessly exploited numerous children of greedy parents! If I hadn't seen it when it first started out as a legit source of factual scientific and historic programming, I wouldn't believe how low it's sunk! -- Submitted By: (Pelirojo) on October 18, 2010, 8:03 pm

Bowl Championship Series (BCS) - Random Topics
Hopefully the Biased Chump-ionship Series falls soon. Oregon deserves to be #1 right now in my opinion, but since the BCS has its head so far up Oklahoma's ass, they get the nod for the top spot. I can't wait for Mizzou to stomp OU so that we can all see what kind of a joke this system is. -- Submitted By: (ScottyB) on October 18, 2010, 8:03 pm

Assy McGee - TV Shows
Never saw this and have no interest in seeing it but good question, Scotty B. And, for that matter what was going through whatever execs' heads when THEY greenlighted it instead of giving the creator the bums' rush?! -- Submitted By: (Pelirojo) on October 18, 2010, 8:00 pm

Homework - Random Topics
My sentiments exactly, DolFan. Assigning homework over the weekend is as far as it should go in my opinion, and even I think that's still a tad to much. Assigning homework over Christmas break, however........NO. -- Submitted By: (ScottyB) on October 18, 2010, 7:59 pm

Leave It To Beaver - TV Shows
I know she was middle aged when the show started over 50 years ago and one couldn't expect her to live forever but I have to admit that it's been sad to learn the Barbara Billingsley 'June Cleaver' has passed away at 94. I can't imagine how the show could have been any good without her contributions and even though it wasn't meant to be funny, seeing her always looking so pristine despite doing major housework was funny! 94 was a good age to reach and I'm glad she's no longer suffering but I feel bad for her family and colleagues. RIP, Miss Billingsley. -- Submitted By: (Pelirojo) on October 18, 2010, 7:57 pm

High School - Random Topics
Never liked it much. Liked college much more. Classes were easy, most of the people were douches, all the popular kids are deadbeats now, school spirit was a joke, college wasn't that difficult to get into... just kind of a waste of time. -- Submitted By: (kingbk) on October 18, 2010, 7:12 pm

High School - Random Topics
I hated high school, and I'm not ashamed to admit it. And this was in the late 80s/early 90s, when it wasn't half as bad as today. And I don't get all this college admission stressing. There was none of that in my day. I took the ACT once and never took the SAT, and nobody cared. Colleges were sending ME letters. Any idiot can go to college, they'll literally let anyone in as long as they can pay somehow. All this artificially created "competition" trying to scare kids into thinking they'll never be admitted to any college is a big, fat lie. And how many high schoolers even make grades high enough to meet these made up standards anyway? -- Submitted By: (DolFan316) on October 18, 2010, 6:27 pm

Homework - Random Topics
If I was 20-plus years younger and back in school I'd refuse to do any homework assigned over Christmas break. I'd love to hear the explanation as to why I failed a class despite making straight As every other time because I didn't do homework assigned at a time when I wasn't even in school. HA!!! -- Submitted By: (DolFan316) on October 18, 2010, 6:21 pm
